Anne Staines has more than 25 years experience leading advertising and marketing campaigns. Her firm, ProProse, specializes in creating marketing campaigns for social causes to change behavior. A primary focus is developing public-private partnerships for public agencies and non-profits to increase the effectiveness of limited budgets. ProProse has created over $35 million in partnership value in the past five years. Some recent clients include Caltrans, CalSTRS, California Energy Commission, California Prison Industries Authority, CAL FIRE, Department of Technology Services, , EdFund, First 5 California, First 5 Placer County, Healthy Kids Healthy Future, Impact Teen Drivers, and Sacramento Youth and Alcohol Coalition.

Anne is was president of SiOC in 2009, VP in 2008, and Marketing Committee Chair in ’06 and ’07. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from California State Fullerton and attended the ’Social Marketing Institute’ sponsored by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Agency and George Washington University."
